Half a century ago, in his early 20th, Mohamed Hamida embarked on a creative journey that would leave an indelible mark on his life. In 1991, at the youthful age of 28, he meticulously created one of his masterpieces "Alternative Creation", in his signature style. It was still a quite small painting but still remains a star among his works.

Many years later, in 2020, his Muse, friends, fans, were challenging him to revisit the topic of that particular winner called "Alternative Creation", on a bigger sheet of art paper. He agreed.
"FOREVER YOUNG" was conceived and developed - and we find it really gorgeous.
Revisiting an old creation and evolving it further is always a risk - a leap into the unknown where the artist's vision and skill are put to the test. Despite the inherent risk that his people would judge the new version remaining in the shadow of the old one, Hamida approached the new work with unwavering determination. For him, it was a journey back to his younger self, to the younger artist. In the end, whether the new big painting "FOREVER YOUNG" would surpass the brilliance of "Alternative Creation" remained uncertain and in the eye of the beholder. But for Hamida, the true reward lay in the journey itself, and in the profound fulfillment that comes from daring to create something old once again - although quite different this time.
