"VERITAS" - THE TRUTH (2020)

History teaches us that VERITAS, the truth, is very elusive. It's difficult to find, not only nowadays in the Internet dominated world, but since the first human appeared on earth.

Imagine,

we had an Aladin lamp with a Genie inside. It was the Genie of VERITAS, possessing a unique and profound ability to grant the seeker not material wishes, but the invaluable gift of truth itself. And as we rubbed the lamb and released the Genie's etherical form, we were bestowed with the power to perceive the world with unparalleled clarity, unmasking the veils of deception and revealing the essence of reality in its purest form.

Would we ask for VERITAS, the truth, be granted for all aspects of life ? Would we, could we, stand the truth all the time ?

Well. The truth comes with a tail of fire.

With the clarity of perception comes the ability to see through illusions and discern the truth in all things. We gain the capacity to unravel falsehoods and expose lies. Beyond mere external truths, we might get the gift of inner wisdom and, through introspection and self-reflection, might unlock the secrets of our own true self.

But, indeed, the truth can be a double-edged sword, wielding both its enlightening clarity and its unforgiving nature. While it has the power to liberate and empower, it also has the capacity to be relentless and unyielding.

The truth often reveals aspects of reality that are uncomfortable or distressing. It can shine a harsh light on our flaws, mistakes, and shortcomings, forcing us to confront aspects of ourselves or our circumstances that we would rather avoid. Truth exposes deception and falsehood, sometimes in ways that are painful or disruptive. It dismantles illusions and reveals the true nature of situations or relationships, leaving no room for denial or evasion.

Embracing the truth may require us to question long-held beliefs, ideologies, or narratives that provide comfort or security. It holds us also accountable for our actions and decisions, demanding that we take responsibility for the consequences of our choices. It requires us to acknowledge the impact of our behaviour on ourselves and others, even when doing so is difficult or humbling.

At times, the truth can seem harsh or cold, devoid of compassion or empathy. Despite its merciless nature, however, the truth remains an essential aspect of personal growth, societal progress, and ethical conduct. It serves as a guiding principle, urging mankind to strive for authenticity, integrity and transparency in all aspects of our lives.
